Synopsis

In this workshop for adults, you will learn how to tell stories to children using unusual props. The unusual props will be made with recycled and natural materials, which are easily sourced and enhance the imagery for children, making storytelling more engaging for the young ones. By understanding how to map stories, you will easily memorize the main idea and sequence of events.

The aims are learning how to:

  • identify characters, setting, actions and emotions
  • identify scenes and draw a storymap
  • tell stories with unusual props
  • use space and materials to involve your audience
  • give and receive constructive feedback
